Hello! I’m Mary Girton of G Log Homes in Hartsville, TN. I bring over 20 years of project management experience to G Log Homes, with a background that spans commercial furniture, residential interior design products (like lighting, bath, and cabinetry), and construction projects. I’ve spent 15 years working in the residential architecture, design, and construction industries, with a strong focus on design—particularly in space planning, unique finish details, and creative ideas for kitchens and baths. While I’m not a formally trained interior designer, my passion for design is evident in every project I take on.
My love for log homes goes beyond professional interest—it’s personal. My own log home is my sanctuary, a place where I find peace and relaxation, surrounded by the calming embrace of natural wood. This connection to nature and the sense of comfort it provides inspire me to help others create that same feeling in their own homes – moreover, their lives.
I’m deeply connected to my community. I’m an active member of Fairview Church in Lebanon, TN, and I enjoy painting, sewing (designing and making custom throw blankets and pillows), home and furniture design, gardening, and spending quality time with my family – especially my daughter, Maril, who also enjoys my artistry flair.
I’m driven by the growing need in Tennessee for simple, cost-effective homes that are both beautiful and functional and have been focusing on designing efficient yet spacious house plans. I have nearly a decade of home sales experience, having worked with Kuhns Bros. Log Homes and Timberhaven in the past.
