Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am taking a few moments to describe the experience my husband and I have had in our adventure in building our log home.
We had always dreamed of having a log home, built upon the site where our home now sits. This dream began about 25 years ago. Raising children and working full time, overtime, etc., etc. got in the way of this dream until last year when we found ourselves finally in a position to build our dream home.
Upon my husband’s request, we decided to visit Timberhaven Log and Timber Homes and met with Sales Manager Brad Mercer. I knew the minute we walked in that Timberhaven was the place for us from the smell of the fresh wood to Brad’s welcoming and helpful demeanor.
We broke ground in April, 2016; our home was delivered the following May. And construction began! It was a dream finally coming true! We worked hard all summer along with the construction crew sanding, staining, etc.
However, by September our plans took a drastic change for the worse when our builder suddenly died. At that time, I had visions of us shoveling an early October snow out of our house with no roof!
But when October arrived, we had found another builder who has been a savior to us. His meticulous style, strong work ethic and vast building knowledge put us back on track and we were able to move in two months ago.
Even though construction is finished, the cars continue to drive by slowly, visitor’s jaws drop in awe when touring the inside and it still seems like a dream.
My purpose in this letter is to thank everyone at Timberhaven, especially those directly involved with our construction, from people answering the phone and fielding our calls to those who visited the site to manage deliveries, but most importantly to recognize Brad Mercer, who holds a special place in our hearts, as the gem and asset to your company that he truly is. Without him, and his guidance and compassionate caring in the bumps along the way, our dream would have never been realized. In him, we have found much more than a business partner; we have found a true friend. We are eternally grateful to all of you.
We would not hesitate to highly recommend Brad and Timberhaven to anyone considering building a log home. Your company is the facilitator of dreams come true.
